There are three distinct personality traits that could fall into the category of being a Child of Disobedience. Seemingly, they are all born the way they are with these character traits already present. (How satan accomplishes this evil feat Is unknown.) These various traits are within them and apparently they cannot change. Their character is established at birth; and there is no known method of rehabilitation for them. Only by examining their fruit can a person make a judgement concerning whether they are truly a Child of Disobedience or not. Don’t rush to judgement because not all persons who have these traits are Tares. Make fruit the test.

The dictionary describes them as below:

• Narcissistic personalities have an inordinate fascination with oneself; excessive self-love; vanity (a description of satan himself). They admire their own physical or mental attributes. Other words that may describe them is selfishness, self-absorbed, arrogant, self love, self confident, overconfident, proud, egomania.

• Sociopathic personalities have antisocial behavior that many times are criminal. They lack any sense of moral responsibility or social conscience. They are antisocial. Criminal enterprises such as cartels, the mob, dictators, even corporations can be run by sociopaths.

• Psychopathic personalities are mentally disturbed whereby they have amoral or antisocial behavior, and a lack of ability to love. They are unable to have meaningful personal relationships. They seek power over others. They are often put into the category of having a mental disease and are put into the same category as a sociopath.

What should we look for aside from FRUIT which is the most important dealing with Children of Disobedience? Look for:

• those who tend to think of themselves as being better than others. They have very little concern for others. They generally have an unhealthy estimation of SELF which is opposite to God’s view of being humble and selfless.

• those who are involved in positions of power over others. Generally lawless enterprises or position of evil power over the masses through fear and intimidation.

• those who seek positions of power, but have little regard for others. Their goal is to control others without conscience or concern for their well being. There is no right or wrong, it is always their way which would normally be considered immoral or sinful. They often could be considered mentally deficient and socially impaired.

There are also a number of certain Organizations who have one primary purpose - cleanse society of substandard people. Negative Eugenics is the belief in the possibility of improving the qualities of the human species or a human population, especially by such means as discouraging reproduction of persons having genetic defects or presumed to have inheritable undesirable traits.

Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, believed that abortion was the best way of ridding society of undesirables, ‘weeds’ as she referred to them. Those who follow in her steps in this Culture of Death certainly could question, “What fruit do they produce?” The answer would be death.

Keep in mind, not all who fall into this category of rotten fruit are children of disobedience. Some can be saved by the love and mercy of Jesus Christ.
